I'm typically not an IPA fan, but I liked this one. Clearly, we like avocados and found this to be outstanding! I wrapped up our visit with a pint of Bunny With Chainsaw ($7.25), an imperial IPA at 8.2% ABV. As you bite into the wedge you get the light crunch of the batter and the silky smooth avocado and the ranch dip just adds to this great experience. It looked like one large avocado cut into four wedges, dipped in a very light, seasoned tempura like batter, deep fried, and served with lime wedges and a very tasty chipotle ranch dressing cup. Our Fried Avocado ($8.99) arrived quickly. I ordered a pint of Insurrection Amber ($7.25), a malty ale that had a good taste. Only wanting a snack, our server recommended the Fried Avocado appetizer. Service was a little slow, but this place was packed. The patio is large and we had no problem getting a seat on a Friday evening at about 6:30. We were driving in historic downtown Yuma and saw their outdoor patio and had to stop.
